January 2, 2006: Here's a fresh, new, and free screensaver for the new year. Titled "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow", it offers some pretty nice sunset and sunrise photos I've taken along with some insight for the future. Try it out!
December 3, 2005: The beauty of the fall color season in north Georgia inspired the desktop wallpapers I've created for November. These wallpapers look like fine paitings on canvas of scenic vistas, roadside scenery, and peeks into some of the nooks and crannies of the southern Appalachian mountains. Although the fall color season this year was not really up to par, it was still worth an outing at the right time in the right place.
October 31, 2005: This month the Cultivated Web has really grown. I've re-organized the Free Resources section and added a collection of wallpapers. In addition to this new content, I'm also implementing a RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed. If you're not familiar with this technology, it's become a very simple way to keep up with all kinds of information. But the real benefit is you customize it to keep up with the information you want to know about. If you would like to learn more about RSS, the Sofware Garden provides a nice basic (non-technical) tutorial. To find an RSS Reader, try this Google search. If you use the Firefox web browser, the Sage extension does a nice job and works right in Firefox.
So if you would like to see when new features or content, like the original desktop wallpapers and screensavers planned for the near future, are added, take advantage of the RSS feed from the Cultivated Web.
